Joni and her daughter Taylor founded The OC Dog Walker because of their love for animals. A native of California, Joni spent the previous 12 years living and working all around Southern California. After a significant emotional event precipitated relocation, where better than the beautiful area of Orange County and Newport Beach.  Their undying love for animals and the sincere desire to interact with animals after the loss of their beloved friend Bandit drives Joni and Taylors quest for animal wellness.

Shortly after bringing home Bandit and Destiny, adorable puppies left abandoned at her fathers business, Joni realized she really enjoyed her daily exercise in the form of long walks, swimming, socialization with other dogs, and of course, playing fetch. A friend saw what fun they were having and asked Joni to look after her own dog while she worked. Other neighbors were so inspired by the interaction between Joni and her animals that they brought home their own puppy to join the fun. Being a capitalist at heart, Joni realized she could and should provide this service to other dogs in her new home of Orange County. Thus, The OC Dog Walker was born. The OC Dog Walker was founded to provide high-quality, personalized care for dogs and puppies.
